The Illinois Attorney General's Office is hard at work stopping Internet Crimes in Illinois. Mr. Eric Salcedo, from the office, even came to speak to our student body about the dangers on the internet.

Myspace - are you making wise decisions about what you are posting?

Cyberbullying tips from MySpace.

ISAFE is a valuable resource for students and parents.

Netsmartz is a valuable resource with videos, tips, do's and don't's, etc.

This is a piece of software that works like a camera, documenting all websites, images, etc. used by users.

K9 Web Protection also is a good source of protection.

ID the Creep is an activity to identify the potential dangerous persons on the internet.

Can you trust the research on the internet? Is it a credible site?

Understand the Law!

In 2008, Illinois Public Act 095-0869 was enacted to amend the
School Code to require Internet Safety education (effective with the 2009-2010 school year).

This act requires:
A component on Internet Safety to be taught at least once each school year to students.
