Step-Up Day For Incoming Freshmen
Thursday, February 27th
We would like to invite next year's freshmen to spend a very special day with us on Thursday, February 27th which we call "Step-Up" day. As the name indicates, "Step-Up" day is a time set aside for you to visit Seneca High School as well as get acquainted with some of the people who will be involved in a major part of your educational experiences for the next four years.
Our plan is for you to meet with some of the teachers who teach elective subjects to freshmen. They will give you an overview of what to expect in high school classes. We will give you a tour of the building, provide a free lunch, and have a special meeting for questions and answers.
You will not register or choose classes at this time. We will invite you back with your parents for an evening of registration on Tuesday, March 4th.
Start the day as usual by going to your home school where a bus will be waiting to bring you to Seneca High School. Everyone should go directly to the auditorium when entering the school. Dismissal will be around 1:00 p.m. at which time you will return to your home school by bus.
We hope you enjoy your visit with us and hope to see you at registration on Tuesday, March 4th.
