McCarthy, Mrs. Alison
Math Department
Mrs. Alison McCarthy has been a teacher here at Seneca since the 2007-2008 school year. She graduated from Sandwich High School and earned her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from Aurora University, where she played four years of basketball for the Lady Spartans. She earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Aurora University as well.
Mrs. McCarthy has previously taught Algebra/Geometry 1A, Algebra/Geometry 1B, Geometry, and Applied Geometry at SHS. This year she will be teaching Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. She has coached Freshmen Girls' Volleyball, JV Girls' Basketball, and JV Softball. Mrs. McCarthy is currently a Junior Class Sponsor.
